We as a team are now back in the office, well rested after a busy weekend at the prestigious Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials. With the event being located so close to our head office, an approximate 30 minute drive, then we wanted to make the most of it. We took our show trailer plus our ‘have-a-go’ agility set with the goal of gaining more awareness of the brand and raising as much money for the Air Ambulance, a truly worthwhile cause.
To maximise our presence as the canine partner, we ran a competition in conjunction with Burghley Horse Trials where the winners could win a photo-shoot with their dog(s) on the Burghley estate. Three sets of winners were selected at random and were invited to join us around the Burghley estate where equine and sports photographer, Julie Priestley, shot them and their canine companions. The morning proved to be a fantastic experience for all involved, with the resulting photography nothing short of stunning.
The event proved to be extremely successful for Autarky, as we sampled thousands of prospective canine shoppers, had fantastic visibility to over 160k over the four days but what we cherish as the most important KPI, is the fact we raised £1010 for the Air Ambulance Service via the ‘Have-a-go’ agility course. So, an absolutely amazing effort from the team but a big thank you to all those that generously donated. The event team did not only consist of members of staff, but also of some wonderful volunteers from the Barking Mad Agility Club whom throughout the four days offered insight and enthusiasm to those that ‘had-a-go’ at agility, plus were taking the donations on behalf of the Air Ambulance. A huge thank you to them!
For those that came to our stand to let us know that you feed Autarky then we really appreciated it. It is always great to hear of existing Autarky dogs!
If you have any photos of you and your #AutarkyDog from the horse trials, then please share with us as we’d love to see them! Simply tag us in your posts.
